Requirement statement¶

The system shall maintain controlled functional operation for HVDC bus voltages above the defined operating range and up to 900 Vdc for a cumulative duration of up to 60 seconds within any rolling 1-hour period.
If the cumulative duration exceeds 60 seconds within the rolling 1-hour period, the system shall transition to a protective shutdown state.

Rationale¶

This ensures ride-through capability during transient and temporary fault conditions without unnecessary system shutdown.

Definition¶

The cumulative duration shall be determined based on continuous monitoring of the HVDC bus voltage.
